Requiem to the orchestra is an installation, which speaks about the silence, coming from general inability to talk. This is the name of the piece, created to honor those who are no longer with us. It is also an attempt to understand the state of the mechanism \u2013 of the orchestra. It is yet another attempt to guess the message, which is written to you in \u201cbook of alterations\u201d hexagram mixture. It is a provocation to think, to choose your place, your role in the roles of the \u201cparty\u201d orchestra without losing hope to decontaminate all the tensions, worries\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n
Created and built in 2008 (the year of election to Seimas) and listed half year before the world economic crisis, installation \u201crequiem to the orchestra\u201d had 141 seats \u2013 the exact number of members in Seimas. In this installation fragment \u2013 28 seats of the bandsman, dedicated to the election to the EU, played by the current members of the EU.<\/p>\n
