…the battle is won – the war continues…
Green forest, white sea – is a sculptural object, created to commemorate the 600 year anniversary of Žalgiris battle. However, the creation of this work was influenced not only by the jubilee year but also by the parallel of the geopolitical – cultural situation of that time and nowadays ecological, social, cultural, economic, political topicalities in Lithuania and all Baltic region.
The idea for this project originated by trying to orient in the geographical path, trying to revise directions, to contact fellow travellers…
